Phil Grimes
President, CEO and co-founder
As a co-founder of ECR, Phil has over 33 years of experience dealing with every facet of the elevator cab modernization industry. A licensed EDMD (Elevating Devices Mechanic class "D"), Phil both oversees and contributes directly to engineering, production and design, using his hands-on experience to solve difficult design and engineering problems. Phil was responsible for the design, testing and development of ECR’s patented A-LookTM , B-LookTM , C-LookTM and E-LookTM systems and optimized ceiling T-frame.
Phil is a TSSA (Technical Standards and Safety Authority) and accredited instructor for The Elevating Devices Mechanics (D) training course. Before founding ECR with Gary Morris, Phil owned and operated Tricore Construction.

Jonathan Adair
Product Manager - Interiors
As well as being ECR’s VP Process Engineering, Jonathan contributes his vast experience to the company’s Engineering, R&D, Sales Management, Financial Planning and Operations areas. Prior to joining ECR Jonathan was the Founder and CEO of Distil Interactive, Iron Edge Technologies, and Seaway Networks. He led high-end microchip design teams at Nortel Networks, and Newbridge Networks. Jonathan got his start serving in the Canadian Air Force as a Radar Technician, Communications Systems Technician and Finally as an Aerospace Engineer designing systems for the Canadair Challenger Fleet.
Jonathan earned a BEng in Electrical Engineering from RMC Kingston 1994, as well as college diplomas as a Radar Technologist CFSCE 1985 and a Communications Systems Technician CFSAE 1986.

Greg McNulty
Vice President of Operations
Greg joined ECR after 34 years with the Loblaws Corporation, most recently in the role of Vice President of Operations for Loblaws Wholesale Division, Western Canada, where he oversaw the management of over 20 stores. He brings great experience in large-scale chain management to our company, overseeing scheduling, installation and production. Greg ensures ECR’s wood, glass, metal, mill-work and paint departments meet their timelines, budgets and the company’s high standards for quality.
Greg also served on the Board of Directors for the Lanark Food Bank.
